It's Official!
Becky tells me that it's official - our wedding date is October 7th. We've signed the contract with the location, paid the twelve different deposits, and secured the date. Good to have that nailed down.
Meanwhile, more planning is ongoing. I'm looking at narrowing down the list of potential photographers to two or three that we can interview. Becky's been looking at a lot of other details. There's talk of a shower, too.
And we're talking about the honeymoon. The two most likely destinations at this point are French Polynesia or Zihuatenejo. The former is described as the ultimate romantic island getaway. The latter is a beautiful former fishing village on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Which will we choose? Hard to say at this point. But it's certainly exciting to think about it.

Meredith (Kelly's friend) just returned from their honeymoon on French Polynesia - said it was beautiful. I'm sure this won't sway you either way -- but the postcard they sent was gorgeous!

Thanks for the recommendation, Jo! :)
If anyone's interested, you can find just a few pictures of Moorea (the island next to Tahiti) here:

Also, here are a couple of places that we might stay if we go to Zihuatenejo:

You look at those and you look at the link Becky posted and you quickly see why this isn't an easy decision.
Unless I win the lottery of something. Which would be pretty miraculous.
